Alex Van Halen and his sound engineer, Jerry Harvey, developed Ultimate Ears to protect the band’s hearing and improve their performance -with Ultimate Ears, they could hear each other play instead of the roar of screaming fans.

Ultimate Ears are now used by over 80% of the world’s top touring musicians. Over the past 23 years, the company has perfected the craft of building in-ear monitors from our facility in Los Angeles, California. We have delivered more than 100,000 earphones that drive memorable performances of top musicians around the world.
